HTC produces their most affordable LTE enabled handset to date! The Desire line up of devices got its glorious start way back in 2010 as a high end flagship known throughout the smart phone industry. Since then the device has struggled to keep its footing at the top of the totem pole and has found itself filling in the mid to entry level range for the manufacturer. The Desire lineup has become what the iPhone 5C is to the Apple’s line up and it looks as if yet another Desire is slated for release.

In the last year or so HTC has not been holding back with their Desire brand. Filling in mid range and entry level markets HTC has produced the likes of the Desire 210, 310, 516, 610, 616, 816 and now the 510. The Desire 510 starts with a 4.7 inch touch screen display that offers up an 854×480 pixel resolution at 208 pixels per inch. Around back of the handset is a 5 mega pixel camera with full HD video recording as well as a front facing VGA quality shooter. Internally the 510 should come packing a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 410 system chip that uses a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 1 GB of Ram, 8 GB of internal storage and expandable micro SD memory options. The big claim to fame for the Desire 510 however that is according to the manufacturer this will be the most affordable LTE equipped handset they’ve ever produced. Ironically the price point has not been mentioned. Its launch window will open in September and will be available in many different markets including Asia, Europe and the US. HTC has confirmed Sprint, Boost, Virgin and Cricket as lucky American carriers to be getting the device.
