An Aurora Red Galaxy S4 gets exclusive for At&t! Samsung is for the lack of a better word, taking over the mobile industry. The company has been on a rampage with their Galaxy and Note devices lately securing themselves 95% of all Android devices sold. Crazy! The amount of devices put forth by Samsung leave little room for its competition to make an impact. Combine their solid feature clad devices and a 4 billion dollar advertising budget, it’s no surprise Samsung is leading the way. But outside of its cool phones, awesome commercials and seemingly endless array of built in features; Samsung produces its flagship devices in color!
For as long as we could remember smart phones came in black and that’s it. But times have changed and many devices have appeared in the wild with a variance of color options and Samsung has not missed a step. Initially the Samsung Galaxy S 3 was offered up in a pebble blue and a ceramic white variation. Shortly after that we were blessed with black, amber brown, garnet red and even a purple color ways. Not to mention the Russian ready La Fleur edition Galaxies. Today news of a new Samsung Galaxy S4 adds an exclusive color option to the shelves of At&t. The handset was announced yesterday at the hands of Ma’bell and will go up for pre-order today, May 24th. The Aurora red variation of the S4 will only be offered in the 16 GB variation and will become available June 14th for approximately $199 alongside a new contract. Samsung has shipped over 10 million S4’s and this new color will surely help perpetuate a few million more. The device, if you have been living under a rock is a solid upgrade from the S3 and adds in more UI features then upgraded hardcore specs. The Americanized version of the S4 comes packing a 1.9 GHz Qualcomm made Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, expandable microSD memory, a 5 inch Super AMOLED full HD touch screen, a 13 mega pixel camera, a 2600 mAh battery and runs the latest in Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
