LG finally announces the White Google Nexus 4. It was many moons ago, back in November of last year when the highly anticipated and awesomely priced LG made Google Nexus 4 hit the market and now some nine months later the company is finally, pushing out their white Nexus 4. While the Nexus 4 is slowly becoming a bit dated by every passing day, it is good to know the mystery handset is finally making its way to sales shelves. LG makes no mention of its delay, however looking into the past it seems fitting as white smart phones are sometimes a bit more difficult to manufacture!
Rumors and sneaky details of an all white Nexus 4 have been circulating the mill for quite some time and now it looks as if the handset is becoming official! Earlier this month hard, solid evidence of its existence began to surface, and this morning LG took to a good old fashioned press release to announce the handset. The only downside to the new White Nexus 4 is nothing has changed other than it paint job, which for the most part is expected. The white Nexus 4 still runs with the same old version of Android 4.2 and unfortunately does not stuff any new tricks up its sleeve. The Nexus 4 if you were wondering comes with a 4.7 inch 768×1280 touch screen that offers up 318 pixels per inch via an IPS LCD panel. Internally the Nexus 4 runs a 2100 mAh battery, a Qualcomm made Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip that offers up a 1.5 GHz quad core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, an 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash and a front facing camera that offers up a 1.3 mega pixel sensor. Additionally, you can expect GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB, TV-Out, DLNA and NFC connectivity. So if you’re looking for a LG Nexus, new flavors have just been added to the buffet, but get it while you can as LG has officially announced it will not be manufacturing a new Nexus 5 handset. The new white Nexus 4 is said to be launched first in Hong Kong come May 29th and then in “select markets” in North America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe in due time.
