LG shows off G2 ‘Quickwindow’ cases ahead of the devices launch. LG is back in the headlines putting the accessories before the flagship…but were not complaining. If you haven’t been paying attention lately LG is on a mission to expose their latest and greatest G2. The device so thin it could not house the power button and volume rocker on the sides of the device. A device so thin that those buttons will be strategically placed directly under the rear facing camera! Today a new tease surrounding the company’s next flagship has surfaced to the headlines by LG themselves. Let’s take a gander at what the LG G2 QuickWindow cases have to offer shall we?
The LG G2 has been circulating within the rumor mill for some months now and its release is slated for the 7th of August. With its launch just days away LG is continuing the hype with a sneak peek at the QuickWindow cases. The case itself is a familiar design that has been seen on some competitor’s phones. The case itself is that of a cover style design. While details surrounding how it attaches to the phone are unclear it may be safe to assume the case takes the form of the devices battery door and the ‘cover’ or flap simply finds its way around the phone and onto the screen. This design very similar to Samsung Flip cover and Veiw Flip options for the S3 and S4. The Quickwindow UX will offer various information to its end user at a glance. The information is swipe-able and will offer easy access to a clock, incoming calls and text, a music player, weather and an alarm. The QuickWindow case will be made available upon release of the G2 and will be sold in black, white, purple, pink, yellow, blue and mint…I think they may mean green. No price has been listed for these new cases and we still have to wait till August 7th for the G2. The G2 in case you were wondering is expected to come with a 5.2 inch screen; 2 GB of RAM, a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 800 processor and a 13 mega pixel camera! Anyone interested?
