The Moto X was speculated to be a device that customers could customize via an online site which is similar to Nike ID where you can pick the device and color code it any way you’d like. Unfortunately, this feature of customizability will be initially limited to At&t customers. According to the TheVerge.Com, the Moto X will have about 504 different customizable combinations including two storage options, two front panel colors, 18 back panel color and around 7 accent color options. The Moto X starts with a 4.7 inch 1280×720 AMOLED touch screen display that is built in to a slightly curved matte body with a super slim bezel and 10.4 mm thin frame. It comes packing a 2200 mAh battery that Motorola suggests will offer a 24 hour life span, day to day. Internally the Moto X comes with a Motorola X8 system chip, also known as a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960. This chip set runs with a dual core 1.7 GHz processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 or 32 GB of built in storage. Around back of the Moto X we find a 10 mega pixel camera with an LED flash that can easily record video in full 1080p HD at 60 frames per second. A front facing camera an also be found on the Moto X sporting a 2 mega pixel sensor. Additional connectivity includes, GPS, Wi-Fi, Blueooth 4.0, micro USB and NFC. On paper the Moto X is not the highest end or most powerful device out there, but Motorola is banking on the fact that soft ware features with awesome hardware will lead smart phones into the future.
