The Motorola Moto G has been confirmed and is expected to become official November 13th! Remember the Motorola Moto X? Of course you do, it’s the latest handset from Motorola with the expected Google twist? The Moto X was made official back in August of this year to much anticipation. The X was the first handset made under the new Motorola Google merger and brings a new level of customization to the end user. The Moto X allows for users to completely customize their device with the MotoMaker.com with many color and design options. The device also brought forth a few new Android tricks alongside all sorts of potential moving forward! That potential is started to leak last month and today Motorola has given the Moto G an official nod of confirmation.

Initial rumors surrounding the Moto G gave the device a rather ugly name, the Moto DVX. MOTO_GThe details surrounding the DVX scaled back is specifications and made it a ‘cheaper’ version of the Moto X. Today Motorola has simply acknowledged the devices existence and set up Moto-G.com that allows interested end users to “sign up for the live online announcement”. Unfortunately, that’s all there is. According to the rumors however the Moto G is expected to come rocking an HD touch screen display that will measure in somewhere between 4.5 and 4.7 inches. Around back the device is expected to run with an 8 or 5 mega pixel cameras with LED flash and a 1950 mAh battery. Internally the G is expected to come running a quad core QUALCOMM made Snapdragon processor, 8 GB or 16 GB of memory and is expected to run with Android version 4.3. While the buck stops right about there on spec’s it is expected the Moto G will come with some of the same software features found in the X and is said to be priced at around $200 unlocked!
