A new HTC Desire 400 pops up across the interwebs! The original HTC Desire at one point was an Android flagship that all other devices looked up to. The handset was almost like an early Nexus device in some ways. Since those early days of Desire, the device has turned into something a bit different. The original Desire was introduced in 2010 and has undergone some thirty alterations since. Today news of not one, but two new Desires’ has surfaced into the headlines. The HTC Desire 400 is quietly working its way into store shelves, but what can we expect from it?
The Desire 400 has just shown up on a few European HTC website and are both rather different from each other. Oddly enough the Russian HTC Desire 400, found on HTC.Com/ru will starts with a 4.3 inch 480×800 touch screen and is built around a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAMN, 4G of storage and expandable micro SD memory. Additionally the device supports dual SIM card functionality, an 8 mega pixel camera, a 1.6 mega pixel front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Beats Audio and a highly capable 1800 mAh battery. In the Ukraine however the Desire 400 takes a few hits. Found on the Ukrainian HTC website, htc.ua the Desire 400 takes on a similar, but slightly less awesome form. According to the details this version of the Desire 400 is set to come with an un-named dual core Qualcomm made processor that will be clocked at 1 GHz. Its rear facing camera has a 5 mega pixel sensor while its front facing shooter is a VGA quality camera. That is where the differentiators however cease. The rest of the Ukrainian variation is the same as the Russian version. While seemingly pretty straight forward there is a possibility one of the two sites has the information listed wrong. The alternative is greatly varying Desire 400’s in two different countries.
