Pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime Surface into the Wild

Is this the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime smiling for the camera? The Samsung Galaxy S5 was announced back in February and launched shortly thereafter in March. Since its launch rumors surrounding its variants have been circulating the headlines. The Zoom variation of the handset is now known as the K Zoom and the specifics surrounding a S5 Mini are still lurking in the depths of the rumor mill. The Galaxy S5 Prime however is expected to an improved variation of the device and as unbelievable as it may sound, is expected to come with an aluminum build!

Rumors surrounding the Galaxy S5 Prime have been circulating the rumor mill for quite Galaxy_S5_prime_1some time now and today it looks as if PhoneArena.com has gotten their hands on the first pictures of the device. The pictures of the device immediately point out some differences in build from the standard S5. The speaker box is no longer rear mounted as it can be found on the bottom of the handset next to the charging port similar to the Note 3 build. The built in heart rate sensor is now one with the camera and are both built underneath the protective glass. The back while it still shares the same small dimples is rumored to be slightly different and be constructed of aluminum. The spec sheet on the S5 Prime while still based off of a bunch of rumor is thought to come with a 5.2 inch QHD AMOLED touch screen that will provide at 2560×1440 resolution. It is expected to come with a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and 3 GB of RAM. The remaining details on the spec sheet are expected to be identical to the standard S5 and will come with Android version 4.4.3 out of the box. The Galaxy S5 Prime is expected to be made official in the next few weeks so stay tuned.
